Job summary

Chiesi USA is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks. The role supports hybrid work from the Cary, NC office and focuses on data-driven decision making for hospital, specialty and rare disease markets.

You will work with data scientists and analysts to deliver cloud-based data solutions and BI reporting, ensuring data quality and security while collaborating with IT for scalable, reliable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering or integration roles.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and Azure services.
• Strong SQL and data architecture knowledge.
• Pharma experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable ETL/ELT processes across sources using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks.
• Monitor existing and new data pipelines and jobs.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity and security.
• Design and implement cloud data architecture solutions to support projects.
• Develop SSIS packages to support on-premise systems.
• Create Power BI dashboards and paginated reports for business users.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Provide IT-team collaboration and issue resolution support.
• Maintain documentation for data processes and systems.
