Job summary

Chiesi USA is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will leverage Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks to ensure reliable data flow for analytics and decision making, while supporting a hybrid work model from the Cary, NC office.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering/integration, strong SQL skills, and experience with Azure services and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years as a data engineer or data integration specialist, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
Strong proficiency in Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks.
Experience with SQL and other database management systems.
Knowledge of data architecture concepts including Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues promptly.
Create cloud data architecture solutions to support data engineering projects.
Design and implement SSIS packages to support on-premise systems.
Create BI solutions like Power BI dashboards and paginated reports for business users.
