Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a GCP/AWS/Databricks/Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures on the AWS cloud platform from our New York office. You will translate business requirements into robust data solutions, ensuring quality and governance while collaborating with data scientists and analysts.

Bring 3–8+ years of data engineering experience, proficiency in SQL and Python/Scala/Java, and familiarity with Spark/Hadoop, CI/CD, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–8+ years of data engineering or related experience.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Experience with ETL tools/frameworks and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of Spark/Hadoop and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services.
• Develop and optimize batch and real-time data processing systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability.
