Job summary

Capgemini New York seeks an IO Developer to design and implement robust RESTful APIs and scalable data pipelines in Python. You will lead infrastructure deployment on AWS using Terraform, turning high-level concepts into production-ready low-level designs optimized for performance and database efficiency.

You will collaborate daily with clients and stakeholders, gathering requirements and guiding junior engineers, while mentoring the team to uphold coding standards and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Production-level Python programming with modern design patterns.
• Hands-on AWS experience with core services (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS) and container deployments.
• Terraform IaC for multi-environment provisioning.
• Strong database expertise across SQL and NoSQL and data processing workflows.
• Experience building distributed systems and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute robust RESTful APIs and scalable data pipelines using Python and distributed frameworks.
• Lead infrastructure management by provisioning, scaling, and optimizing AWS resources via Terraform.
• Translate high-level concepts into production-ready low-level designs optimized for performance and DB efficiency.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, guidance, and code quality reviews.
