Innova Solutions is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer (Intermediate) for a Plano, TX engagement. This contract-to-hire role requires hands-on AWS data lake expertise, Python development, and strong CI/CD skills to build scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities include implementing data lake components (Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda), data movement, analytics, and integration with Snowflake/Databricks. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with AWS data lake technologies.
• Data lake stack: Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda.
• Data movement: AWS CLI, Python API, Spark, Boto3.
• Data analytics: Athena, S3 Select, EMR, Redshift.
• Compute/Storage: S3, EC2.
• Knowledge of at least one scheduling tool, Control-M preferred.
• Languages: Python (preferred), Java/Scala (good to have).
• CI/CD deployments into AWS using Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, ServiceNow.
• Log tracing: CloudWatch, Splunk.
• Snowflake Horizon Catalog and Databricks Unity Catalog knowledge a plus.

We're Looking for Cloud Data Engineer - Intermediate - Plano, TX

Position type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6+ Months

Must Have

• AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step function, Lake Formation, Snowflake, Python, and Terraform, CI/CD.
• Conversant with AI Suite (Copilot/Claude/Agentic workflows)
• Need to be very strong in building out pipelines without much guidance
• Must be very strong within AWS services specific to Data
• Must be good with CICD
• Must be good with hands on Python

Nice to Have

• SF and Databricks

Job Responsibilities

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range*: $ 55/Hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
