Job summary

Best Buy seeks a Cloud Data Engineer II to design scalable, governed data solutions powering enterprise analytics. You will build data pipelines with Python, Java, and GCP, and contribute to user-facing data tools using React or modern UX development practices.

This hybrid role requires on-site work Monday-Thursday at the Richfield, Minnesota corporate office, with Fridays available for remote work. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and governance teams to enable trusted data

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) or distributed data systems.
• 2+ years of experience designing and working with RESTful APIs and React or modern UX frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for enterprise data platforms.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable data access and services.
• Develop and enhance user interfaces using React or modern UX frameworks.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration using GCP tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows, APIs, and performance.
