Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Private Pricing Analytics team and deliver scalable data solutions. You will own data pipelines, build analytics-ready datasets, and enable self-serve reporting for the Private Pricing Program.

You will collaborate with GDSP stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions and improve health and growth of pricing initiatives. The role requires 3+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Oracle experience, and familiarity with AWS tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years of ETL/ELT for BI analytics.
• 1+ years in OLAP technologies for BI analytics.
• 1+ years data modeling experience.
• 1+ years SQL experience.
• 1+ years Oracle experience.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions for metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using AWS services and internal tools.
• Build and deliver high-quality datasets supporting data science and reporting needs.
• Automate and optimize reporting processes to enable self-service analytics for stakeholders.
• Translate business problems into technical analysis requirements.
• Apply analytical rigor to answer business questions and drive data-driven decisions.
• Develop measurement frameworks quantifying customer experience and business outcomes.
• Create queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting needs.
• Write efficient, optimized queries with deep knowledge of data structures.
• Adopt best practices in data integrity, validation, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and audit data pipelines.
