Job Description:
The Data Architect will work as part of an agile development team to modernize enterprise-class software applications, focusing on cloud database infrastructure and migration of legacy systems to the cloud.
Responsibilities include designing secure, scalable database architectures across cloud environments, developing migration plans, and providing guidance on best practices for database management and security.
Additional duties involve provisioning databases, performance tuning, security configuration, and supporting migration from legacy systems such as Informix to cloud solutions like DynamoDB, CosmosDB, etc.
Qualifications include experience with high-availability systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI), data modeling, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Certifications in cloud platforms are preferred.
The role requires strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with a focus on security, scalability, and performance optimization.
The position offers a salary range of $183,498 - $207,000, with benefits including health plans, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
Work location is remote, with scheduled weekly hours of 40 and no travel required.
