Job summary

Smith Johnson Group in Utah seeks a Software Engineer focused on data and integration services to help modernize cloud enablement and delivery. You will contribute to AI exploration to streamline processes and deliver robust solutions.

You will work on a cross-functional SAFe Agile team, develop APIs, and participate in design, development, and automated testing using Apigee Hybrid, Python, PySpark, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile SDLC practices.
• Experience with API security policies (OAuth, JWT, JWE, HMAC).
• CI/CD and DevOps experience.
• Experience with Kafka, Python, REST APIs and JSON.

Responsibilities

• Develop Integration APIs.
• Design, develop, and test data and integration services using Apigee Hybrid, Python, PySpark, Kafka, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Explore ways to incorporate artificial intelligence to improve processes and solutions.
• Provide support including root cause analysis and on-call duties.
• Work on a cross-functional SAFe Agile team.
• Other duties as assigned.
