Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Cloud Financial Operations Analyst to join the CSRM group in Plano, TX. You will build and maintain cost reporting, perform data checks, and enhance automation for cloud cost management while working with engineers and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring scripting, SQL, and cloud cost experience, plus a mindset for continuous improvement and collaboration. Relocation or visa sponsorship is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Foundational programming or scripting experience demonstrated through coursework, projects, internships or work.
• Basic experience with structured data and SQL queries, and checking results for inconsistencies.
• Exposure to technology cost reporting, chargeback/showback, or basic financial-data reconciliation.
• Foundational understanding of software testing, debugging and version control with repeatable processes.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and collaborate with others to complete tasks.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar tools/processes and take responsibility for accuracy of work.
• Bonus: Master’s in Engineering; CPA, PMP or similar certifications; experience with Python/TypeScript, APIs, or AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Build cost and usage reporting, including chargeback/showback for cloud infra.
• Check source data, investigate differences, and escalate as needed with teammates.
• Modify scripts, queries, and reporting tools as requirements evolve.
• Use version control and basic tests; learn approved AI-assisted practices and validate output.
• Maintain cost-visibility tools, notifications, and routine workflows.
• Follow runbooks, document issues, and support troubleshooting with engineers.
• Support financial-data checks and account or profile mapping updates.
• Document recurring tasks and propose improvements to standard work.
• Clarify requests with customers, raise risks early, and ensure completed work meets needs.
