Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a Cloud & Container Security Specialist (Finance) to partner with the Information Security Office and CTO to advance cloud security maturity across Prudential's global enterprise.

You will design, implement, and operate monitoring and assessment capabilities for cloud and container environments, triage issues, and collaborate with engineering to reduce risk while enabling digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience securing cloud environments and container workloads.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and threat modeling.
• Ability to translate standards into concrete security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Prudential's cloud and container monitoring and assessment capabilities.
• Triage and remediate cloud/container misconfigurations and validate mitigating controls.
• Identify security improvements based on industry trends and business needs.
• Provide SME guidance on remediation, exceptions, prioritization and mitigations.
• Report on compliance and risk across multiple platforms and groups.
• Develop and evolve security metrics and reporting for leadership.
• Improve processes, metrics, and documentation to mature security posture.
• Partner with leadership to set the Attack Surface Management program direction.
• Develop security policies and governance aligned with CIS/NIST/PCI/DORA.
