This role requires a strategic approach to configuration management, focusing on the documentation and approval of Configuration Items (CIs) and collaborating with technical review boards and change control boards. Key Responsibilities: - Define and document all Configuration Items (CIs), including both software and hardware components within the project scope. - Compile comprehensive data into approval packages and present to the Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Control Board (CCB) for validation and approval. - Ensure adherence to government configuration plans and standards, maintaining compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of configuration management principles and practices. - Maintain active communication with stakeholders to facilitate understanding and compliance with configuration management processes. - Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and Change Management protocols to support project objectives. - Provide expert guidance and support in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS GovCloud, to optimize configuration management strategies. - Utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex configuration management concepts to diverse audiences.## QualificationsRequired Education: - Relevant Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, or supporting certifications and relevant job or military experience of 4 years in lieu of degree Required Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration management - Minimum 3 years of experience working with government agencies and adhering to Government configuration plans Required Skills and Abilities: - Active Top Secret Clearance, preferred with SCI eligibility. The position may require a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.
