Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement cloud-based backend services and scalable APIs. The role emphasizes robust architecture, containerization, and performance optimisation across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will work remotely with a talented team, mentoring juniors and shaping architectural decisions while delivering high-quality software for cloud solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience with emphasis on cloud technologies.
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP) and related services.
• Expertise in backend development, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and messaging.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs on cloud platforms.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability through testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
