Job description

Job Details:

Builds and maintains applications for deployment, monitoring, and operations, troubleshoots and resolves issues within AWS environments, including network, security, storage, and compute-related problems.

Drive & lead technical decisions, design discussions, review artifacts, and implement the platform/services.

Ensure Well-Architected principles and engineering best practices are followed to build secure, high-performing, resilient, and scalable services.

Automate routine operational tasks to ensure efficiency and reliability in day-to-day operations.

Implement security best practices to keep data safe and control access to resources.

Manage code deployment and release via GitHub Actions/Jenkins and assist in troubleshooting issues with existing CI/CD pipelines.

Guide the team’s development efforts towards successful project delivery.

Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Application Support and Maintenance.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AWS or other cloud architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and AWS IAM roles/policies.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs with third-party services.
