Job summary

Lentech, Inc. in Fort Meade, MD seeks an expert in Cloud computing to support hybrid cloud efforts across government and commercial projects. You will provide high-level guidance, design patterns, and hands-on recommendations for modern cloud services and architectures.

Required active TS.SCI w FSP through MD; experience with CI/CD (GitLab runners) and AWS infrastructure management. A Bachelor’s or higher degree with extensive IT/cloud background is expected.

• Experience managing AWS infrastructure and designing AWS patterns.

Responsibilities

• As an expert in Cloud computing, supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by using knowledge of cloud computing environments in commercial and government organizations, and relevant cloud computing related academic research.
• Assist the Government in achieving its cloud computing objectives by providing high-level recommendations and guidance based on expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.

Required

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
• Creation of configuration management automated systems through continuous integration/delivery technologies (e.g. creation of GITLAB runners),Management and sustainment of the AWS infrastructure, Creation of AWS design patterns through multiple integrated AWS services.

Education

• A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty (20) years of IT experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twelve (12) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.
• A Master’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of IT experience.
