Ringside Talent Acquisition Partners seeks a Cloud Architect for a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH. You will design and govern cloud architecture from landing zones to modernization, guiding a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate leads cloud modernization, sets technical standards, and collaborates with security and infrastructure leaders to align cloud decisions with business goals. Strong IaC and leadership experience required.

Formación

• Experience designing enterprise cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficient with IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud landing zones and governance.
• Automation and scripting in PowerShell or Python; CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven leadership of cloud modernization or migration projects.
• Mentoring and directing technical teams.
• Cloud architecture certifications preferred.
• Strong communication to explain decisions to leadership.

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a strong opportunity for a cloud leader who wants to design the foundation others build on, from landing zones to full-scale modernization, while guiding a team of engineers, in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern cloud architecture that is secure, scalable, and cost-aware
• Build and standardize cloud landing zones, including account structure, networking, identity, and guardrails
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) practices so environments are repeatable, version-controlled, and easy to audit
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks to cut manual effort and reduce risk
• Lead cloud modernization efforts, including migrating and re-architecting existing workloads
• Set technical standards and reference architectures for engineering and application teams
• Manage, coach, and develop cloud engineers, setting priorities and supporting career growth
• Work with security, infrastructure, and application leaders to align cloud decisions with business goals
• Evaluate new cloud services and tools, recommending adoption where they add clear value
• Monitor cloud costs and performance, and identify ways to optimize both

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud architecture (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong IaC experience using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation
• Experience building cloud landing zones and governance frameworks
• Background in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience leading cloud modernization or migration initiatives
• People management experience, including mentoring and directing technical teams
• Cloud architecture certifications preferred
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to leadership
