Arcticom, LLC is seeking a Cloud Architect to define and execute a cloud strategy, align with cybersecurity, and drive the adoption of cloud services across the government-focused portfolio.
The role requires 5–10 years of cloud design experience, a Bachelor's degree, US citizenship and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, plus deep knowledge of DoD cloud policies and current computing trends. This is a remote position with applicable security requirements.
Arcticom, LLC provides network and systems administration, enterprise architecture and resource planning, certification and accreditation, software design, programming, maintenance of telecommunications and land mobile radio equipment and systems, help desk support and IT transformation services among other services.
Cloud Architect
Location: Remote
Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Develop and organize cloud systems.
Work closely with Cybersecurity to monitor the portfolio's cloud privacy.
Respond to technical issues.
Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the Government.
Develop enterprise architecture solutions that utilize common services and best practices.
Assist in strategy for work towards the Platform as a Service to Software as a Service transformation.
The Contractor shall perform the tasks demonstrating experience with:
Deep knowledge of Department of War cloud policies and processes.
Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and all HR modules.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree
Level of Experience Requirements: 5-10 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance.
Deep knowledge of Department of Defense cloud policies and processes.
