Job Description

Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr

1. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support application modernization.
2. Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML initiatives is a plus.
3. Migrate legacy applications to modern cloud architectures using services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
4. Implement and enforce security best practices across GCP services.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
6. Stay updated on the latest GCP technologies and trends.
7. Work with IT Architecture staff (Cloud Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Teams), software developers, and IT managers to design solutions that meet requirements; assist in analyzing the solution design and business case.
8. Assist with planning, configuration, and extension of DevOps, App Service, App Proxy, Pipelines, and other PaaS offerings.
9. Operate within Agile principles and methodologies.
10. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
11. Require 15+ years of work experience, with at least 7+ years in cloud platforms.
12. Proficiency in GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, App Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
13. Experience with Cloud SQL, Apigee, API Gateway, security tools (IAM, SailPoint, Security Command Center), networking services (VPC, Cloud Load Balancing), Terraform, or Deployment Manager.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
15. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
16. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting and optimizing cloud solutions.
17. Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred; GCP certification (or commitment to obtain within 6 months of joining).
18. Experience with .NET Framework, C#, and .NET Core.
