Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect Senior to assist as we continue moving into our Cloud 1st strategy. You will have the opportunity to build and design solutions to meet our business needs.

Work Arrangement:

This position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Support on-premise multi-data center and cloud initiatives for IS and the company.
• Propose new technologies, strategies, and processes to meet business challenges, considering their costs and benefits. Provide insights to contribute to strategic plans.
• Serve as a technical expert across multiple Infrastructure domains, resolving complex problems and mentoring others.
• Develop sophisticated technology plans integrating multiple systems and serving diverse clients.
• Define and maintain architectural standards and principles.
• Solve broad and complex technical problems, often serving as the escalation point.
• Lead architectural planning for critical projects, working independently.
• Recommend investments in new products and technologies, supported by ROI and cost analyses.
• Possess deep expertise in infrastructure and system modeling to document and analyze architectures.
• Design platforms based on hybrid and multi-cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud).
• Enhance hybrid cloud sustainability strategies, including automation, AI, and NLP.
• Support design and support of containerized solutions.

Qualifications / Education:

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in setting architectural standards.
• Experience with Cisco, HPe compute, VMware, Pure Storage, and telecom technologies.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise, cloud-native/hybrid architectures, Kubernetes/OpenShift, microservices, and cloud operational practices across Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Azure cloud deployment experience is highly desired.
• Strong experience with security, virtualization, and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Serverless.
• Familiarity with network and information security principles.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, CASB/SASE, SDN.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• TOGAF Certification is highly desired.
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent; MS degree preferred. Degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable.
