Google Cloud is seeking a mid-level Customer Quality Engineer to ensure top-tier hardware quality for AI infrastructure. You will work with customers, engineering and product teams to diagnose issues and drive improvements across CPU/TPU hardware in our Cloud AI systems.

Responsibilities include tracking hardware observations, guiding internal tool development, and collaborating with SRE to sustain reliable deployments while maintaining strong customer advocacy and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years manufacturing/validation with CPU/dGPU/TPU.
• 3 years quality and reliability of technical infrastructure.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication flows and test methods (ATE/DFT).
• Ability to troubleshoot and advocate for customer needs.
• Experience with system architecture (CPU/TPU/I/O/memory).

Responsabilités

• Track and manage customer hardware observations and priorities.
• Collaborate with internal engineering to diagnose issues and improve investigation tools.
• Work with Product, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve the product and services.
• Coordinate with Site Reliability Engineering to drive high-quality deployments.
• Assess the impact of hardware/software changes on deployed hardware.
