Job summary

PGTEK seeks a Mid-Level Cloud AI Engineer to design and manage secure Google Cloud solutions for U.S. federal clients. You will own migration projects from architecture through deployment in highly secure FedRAMP/DoD contexts, using IaC and modern AI tooling.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Google Cloud experience, Terraform, CI/CD, and strong communication skills. Onsite roles require travel to customer sites across the Continental U.S. Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field.
• 3–5 years designing and supporting Google Cloud Platform or similar enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience migrating workloads to public cloud and securing FedRAMP/DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable Google Cloud Platform solutions for federal customers.
• Lead cloud migration planning from legacy infrastructure to Google Cloud.
• Architect highly available cloud infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
• Implement IAM, KMS, VPC-SC, and encryption services.
• Develop IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Mentor Associate Cloud AI Engineers and guide project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cloud modernization initiatives.
