Position Overview

We are aggressively looking for an experienced and highly motivated Cloud Administrators to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in AWS infrastructure and operations who thrive in collaborative, mission-focused environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for provisioning and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud environments, managing IAM policies, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. You’ll also play a critical role in implementing logging, monitoring, and cost-control strategies to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to support secure, scalable, and reliable environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage AWS IAM roles, groups, and policies, enforcing security best practices and access controls.
• Implement and oversee cost-optimization strategies, including resource tagging, monitoring, and budget analysis.
• Utilize AWS CloudTrail for system logging, auditing, and supporting compliance initiatives.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to reduce manual intervention and increase repeatability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to align infrastructure with technical and business needs.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required & ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Location: Must be local to the Washington, D.C. area and able to work 5-days a week from our company headquarters located at 8521 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182 (Non-Local candidates MUST be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance can be provided.)
• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud administration or operations, with a strong emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Demonstrated expertise with AWS IAM for managing access controls in complex cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Jenkins in designing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail for logging, tracking user activity, and supporting audits.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of cloud provisioning, monitoring, and cost management strategies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document technical processes and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with additional AWS services such as CloudWatch, Config, or Trusted Advisor.
• Experience supporting federal or mission-driven environments.
