Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage end-to-end apparel shipments, from receipt to stocking on the Sales Floor. The role emphasizes replenishment accuracy, signage upkeep, and backroom organization to support a seamless guest experience.

The position requires basic high school education and comfort with inventory systems and POS. It includes physical tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional unloading of trucks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish merchandise on the sales floor per Visual Merchandising Standards using the inventory system.
  • Assist with unloading trucks as needed.
  • Maintain pricing and signage of merchandise to ensure accurate displays.
  • Keep backstock organized and accessible for quick replenishment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Perform ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • 50% Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
  • 10% Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
  • 10% Unloads trucks as needed.
  • 10% Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
  • 5% Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
  • 5% Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
  • 5% Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
  • 5% ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate(s) or License(s): N/A Years of experience: 0

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system. Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards. Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor. Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. Seldom/Never sits. Additional Physical Requirements Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
