Job summary

Scheels is seeking a merchandising professional in Eau Claire, WI, to unload, tag, stock, and display merchandise while assisting customers and staff. You will follow merch guides, coordinate with shop managers, and maintain orderly back stock areas.

Responsibilities

• Unload, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the floor or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the floor and bring products to display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with loading purchased products.
• Follow Line Leader checklists and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers on shop moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas.
• Be organized, multitask, and have problem-solving skills in merchandising tasks.
• Work independently and with the team.
• Exercise judgment and tact when working with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrates attention to detail.
• Willing to do other tasks as assigned by leadership and Merchandising Lead.
• Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work -

Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
