Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a merchandising associate in Fargo, ND. You will unload freight, tag and price items, restock floors, assist customers, and coordinate with shop teams.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and flexibility for varied hours. Benefits include ESOP participation and comprehensive health coverage; on-site teamwork and a customer-focused culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for display or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
• Follow Line Leader checklist, walkthrough notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around store and back stock areas.
• Demonstrate organization, multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail in merchandising tasks.
• Work independently and with the team; exercise judgement with tact across all levels.
• Willing to take on additional tasks as assigned by leadership and Merchandising Lead.
• Typical schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
