Job summary

Community Action Center (CAC) in Northfield, MN is seeking a part-time Clothes Closet Sales Associate to support daily thrift store operations and provide high-quality service to shoppers, volunteers, and staff.

Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing donated goods, assisting customers, processing sales at the register, and maintaining a neat, welcoming sales floor. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and policy.
• Comfortable with technology, including POS system.
• Flexibility to work scheduled weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting and pricing donated goods at workstation.
• Donor relations: greet donors, issue receipts, communicate needs.
• Product management: inspect quality and maintain systems.
• Answer Clothes Closet phone line and provide excellent customer service.
• Sales floor & cashier: assist customers, process transactions, bag goods.
• Maintain neat and orderly sales floor; report issues as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; support volunteers.
• Follow opening/closing cleaning protocols and safety rules.
• Assist with other duties to support CAC's mission.
