Job summary

Workstream in Duluth, MN is seeking a Saturday & Sunday Fitness Center Attendant - Janitorial to provide friendly customer service while keeping the facility clean, organized and sanitary.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, locker rooms and pool/deck areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with laundry or other duties as needed; the role requires a high school education and ability to lift 40 lbs, with weekend evening shifts (12:00–7:30/8:00 pm).

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of exercise equipment and facility protocols (preferred).
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to members.
• Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear designated uniforms.

• Ensure the fitness facility remains clean and organized; organize dumbbells, weight plates, and bars.
• Ensure pool areas are tidy, and perform pool/deck cleaning.
• Ensure locker rooms are kept clean and sanitary.
• Disinfect and clean equipment routinely throughout the shift.
• Inspect facility for required maintenance and create service requests as needed.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Do laundry as needed.
• Help out in other areas of the facility when needed.

The Fitness Center Attendant provides customer service through interaction with members while ensuring the fitness facility remains clean, organized and sanitary.
