Job summary

The Workout Club in Londonderry, NH is hiring a cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. You will support front-of-house areas and gym spaces while upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, assisting with events, and communicating needs to the Manager. Ideal candidates possess strong attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep club and equipment clean and safe while delivering friendly customer service.

• Receive and store deliveries.
• Assist with cleaning at events.

Job description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic cleanersto help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and guests. This position is essential in upholding the facility’s standards and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who visits.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well-maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service
• Ensure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable
• Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables
• Maintain an adequate supply of paper towels on the exercise floor
• Provide maintenance for all equipment
• Receive and store all deliveries
• Assist with cleaning at special events
• Notify the Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attention

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:

• Must be able to work either 5am for the opening shift and until 10pm for the closing shift
• Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
• Prior experience in cleaning and housekeeping services is highly preferred
• Willingness to service fitness equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
• Candidates will be required to be flexible from Monday to Sunday
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and positive work ethic
• Comfortable engaging with members and staff in a professional manner
• Passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Comfortable using cleaning products and tools

Physical requirements:

• Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
• Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs
• Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
• Standing for long periods

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
