Job summary

Target is seeking a Closing Team Leader in Hampton, VA to guide guest interactions and supervise closing operations. You will lead a team, manage workloads, and ensure a smooth store close with a guest-first approach.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining store standards, and supporting executives to achieve sales and safety goals. Prior retail experience is helpful; 18+ and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate guest service and lead by example in customer interactions.
• Lead closing routines and coach team members across departments.
• Ensure store operations are smooth, including zones, signing, labeling, and stock.
• Support the Store Director and Executive Team Leader to drive sales and profitability.
• Address guest and team member issues and maintain safety and compliance.
