Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation, Brown Jug and Gold Rush Liquor stores, is seeking a Closing Sales Lead for the Gold Rush Liquor location in Anchorage. You will engage customers, educate them on our products, and help customers select the right bottle.

The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and teamwork. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with potential increases as described, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff.
• Knowledge or interest in wine, beer, and/or spirits.
• Retail sales experience or related customer service training is a plus.
• Alcohol Server Card can be obtained after a job offer.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage them to identify shopping needs.
• Build the Basket by recommending additional items.
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns.
• Motivate sales associates to deliver great service.
• Educate customers on promotions, products, and club offerings.
• Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and tagged.
• Support the store management team as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
