Job summary

Closet America, part of the Renuity family, is hiring a Closet Installation Helper in the DMV area. Installers build organized, beautiful spaces and start with comprehensive training to quickly move toward Installer level.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to read design drawings, handle materials outdoors and indoors, and communicate professionally with customers. Weekend work and precise finishing are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and match parts to assemblies.
• Capable of carrying heavy materials through weather to install spaces.
• Detail-focused with accurate finishing and measurements to the mm.
• Professional appearance and clear customer communication.
• Organized with a systematic approach to tasks.
• Willingness to work at least some weekends each month.
• Able to achieve pre-determined results and stay goal-focused.
• Able to proactively solve work-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble organization products in homes with care.
• Follow training to progress toward Installer level and maintain quality.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.

About The Role

Installers create Organization, Beauty & Joy for our customers. It’s what we do and how we do it that sets Closet America apart from its competitors, making us the largest locally owned business of its kind in the DMV. Installation Helpers go through intensive classroom and on-the-job training, working to the highest levels of their capability, with the goal of quickly elevating to the Installer level.

Key Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, associating parts to proper assemblies. Ability to understand different hardware types and ability to do final surface detailing.
• Ability to carry product through weather into workspaces and to assemble without damage.
• Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
• Conduct and appearance is professional and to company standards and policies, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and colleagues to assure expectations are met.
• Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
• Ability to work at least 2 weekends/month, and ability to manage personal and professional demands to help meet critical business needs as they arise.
• Ability to perform work accurately, to the mm, and thoroughly to CA quality levels.
• Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
