The Tailored Closet in Houston, TX is hiring a Closet Designer to transform client spaces with custom storage solutions. Role involves in-home or showroom consultations, CAD-based designs, and presenting proposals to guide client selections.

You will develop accurate quotes, coordinate with production, and follow up to maximize client satisfaction and referrals. Flexible work-from-home options are available, with a strong emphasis on growth and design excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design, space planning, or custom storage is a plus.
• Strong consultative sales ability and customer-first approach are beneficial.
• Familiarity with design or CAD software; quick learner of proprietary tools.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients in-home or in-showroom to assess storage needs and design preferences.
• Create custom closet, garage, and home organization designs using CAD or proprietary software.
• Present design proposals and options, guiding clients through selections and closing sales.
• Develop accurate project quotes and meet revenue targets.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure design execution to client satisfaction.
• Follow up post-installation to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.
• Stay current on product lines and design trends, and grow social media presence.
