Qualifications

• J.D. with demonstrated experience in estate planning and/or business succession planning; fiduciary issues.
• Understanding of operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Experience with closely held businesses and private equity structures is a plus.
• Strong financial statement, business valuation or investment analysis skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members; management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make business decisions on new close-held assets and evaluate asset acceptance and administration.
• Coordinate asset proposals with sales and fiduciary teams and prepare committee presentations.
• Lead relationships with internal partners to support acquisition, reporting and disposition of assets.
• Conduct fiduciary reviews and provide investment/fiduciary recommendations for monthly committee meetings.
• Provide compliance-based reporting and oversee reviews for assets accepted.
