Deutsche Bank in Boston seeks an Account Manager for CLO & Private Credit Services. You will oversee day-to-day client service for CLO SPVs, produce investor reports, and coordinate with arrangers, collateral managers and rating agencies.

The role requires deep CLO/bank loan knowledge, strong accounting skills, and the ability to collaborate across Operations and IT. Hybrid work model and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience with CLOs and structured credit products.
• Understanding of bank loans (BSL, middle market, private credit).
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Familiarity with wiring instructions and SWIFT payments.
• Experience reviewing indentures and credit agreements.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for a portfolio of CLO SPVs.
• Produce monthly and quarterly investor reporting packages; know all test calculations.
• Review and release wires for trade settlements.
• Communicate with arrangers, collateral managers, rating agencies, accountants and bondholders.
• Collaborate with DB Operations and Account Administrators.
• Maintain SPV annual compliance requirements (Accountant's Reports, Issuer's Certifications).

Overview

CLO & Private Credit Services was started back in 2000. Our staff of professionals provides trustee, calculation agent, collateral administration, and custodian services on over 400 SPVs both domestically and throughout Europe.

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients, which are the collateral managers of Collateralized Loan Obligations. You must have a deep understanding CLOs, ABLs, compliance test calculations, bank loans and other complex fixed income structures. You will provide oversight of day to day operational/client service activities while monitoring controls such as overdraft reports, annual reviews, and outstanding deal compliance.

What You'll Do

• Primary point of contact for a portfolio of CLO Special Purpose Vehicles
• Produce monthly and quarterly investor reporting packages. Must have knowledge of all test calculations in the issued reports
• Review and release wires for trade settlements
• Communicate with arrangers, collateral managers, rating agencies, accountants and bondholders
• Close interaction with DB Operations and Account Administrators.
• Maintain each SPV's annual compliance requirements (Accountant's Reports, Issuer's Certifications, etc.)

How You'll Lead

• Senior Management - Must be able to succinctly communicate with high level leaders within the organization
• Clients - Must understand the CLO transaction and be able to interact with Collateral Managers and Investors on the internal mechanics of a deal
• Analytics/IT - Must be able to identify operational bottleneck and work together with IT/Analytics to develop and implement a solution

Skills You'll Need

• BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics, MBA is a plus
• Proven prior experience with CLOs
• Understanding of bank loans - BSL, middle market and private credit loans.
• Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles
• General understanding of structured credit products; ABLs and borrowing base calculations, a plus.
• Competent in all MS Office products; Advanced MS Excel abilities, familiarity with complex formulas and modelling techniques, a plus.
• Familiarity with wiring instructions, SWIFT payments a plus.
• Experience reviewing indentures, credit agreements and other governing documents

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY or Santa Ana, CA office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City or California is $120,000- $172,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
