Blackstone seeks an Associate/Senior Associate for its Portfolio Management team within Blackstone Credit & Insurance. The role supports a leading CLO franchise across the US and Europe, overseeing the full investment life cycle from idea generation to risk monitoring.

Responsibilities include portfolio construction, daily desk communication, and coordinating with legal, middle office, and investor relations. Requires CLO experience and strong analytical skills, with a base finance background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience at a bank or buy-side asset manager focused on CLOs.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Base understanding of the Leveraged Loan product with CLO emphasis.
• Proficient at navigating fund compliance documents and CLO indentures.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Generate trade ideas based on relative value to improve portfolio metrics.
• Construct and optimize portfolios.
• Communicate daily with trading desk on trades, market, and opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio risk and key metrics.
• Work with legal and middle office to monitor investment guidelines and compliance.
• Respond to investor requests and liaise with BXCI investor relations.
