Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking an experienced professional to lead client engagements in our finance domain in the United States. You will champion our brand, drive end-to-end process excellence, and partner with senior leaders to advance strategic initiatives and client outcomes.

You will manage a team, own deliverables, mentor staff, and ensure training and development, with a focus on client satisfaction, risk control, and revenue leadership within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in finance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of loan operations, or loan securitization with some product knowledge and/or customer service.
• Previous experience with CLO compliance and Waterfall modeling;
• Experience in direct management and training of team members preferred.
• Ability to independently research and resolve problems.
• Responsive, friendly, professional, highly organized, and superb communication.
• Solid Microsoft Excel experience.
• Knowledge or familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other loan research and analysis tools is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and able to thrive within a high-volume data entry environment with both proficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.

• Expert in end-to-end business line process; communicate process to internal and external parties.
• Provide strategic direction of business unit and initiatives; work with Director and MD to move forward.
• Manage P&L of team; be efficient in use of headcount.
• Take full ownership of client deliverables, delegating duties while ensuring ownership.
• Conduct regular workflow reviews with staff to ensure optimal execution.
• Perform active relationship management and resolve issues with clients.
• Subject Matter Expert at Alter Domus on client engagements.
• Coach, mentor, and support team through assignments.
• Ensure training and development of staff is appropriate and consistent.
• Lead, develop and mentor career path of team members.
• Mastery of internal workflows and deadlines management.
• Understand other business unit functions within DCM and impact on the team;
• Proactively expand client relationships by recognizing needs and Alter Domus services.

Job Description

• Mastery of internal workflows, processes, and management of deadlines.
• Understand other business unit functions within DCM and how it impacts the team; and
• Proactively expand client relationships by recognizing their needs and understanding Alter Domus suite of services.
• Ensure exceptions are cleared and procedures and regulations are followed.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.

Illinois salary range depending on experience: $95,000-120,000

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
