Huntsville Hospital here in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join the clinical team. You will initiate patient care, gather vital signs, prepare exam rooms for procedures, and collect specimens while supporting physicians, patients and families.

In this role, you will assist coworkers, perform phlebotomy as needed, and contribute to a fast-paced yet collaborative environment. A CNA/LPN is preferred, and basic BLS is required within orientation.

Qualifikationen

• Education required: High school diploma or GED.
• Education preferred: Completion of certified medical assistant program, completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program or CNA.
• License, Certification and/or Registration: CNA or LPN Preferred. BLS must be received within the orientation period.
• Experience: Phlebotomy experience preferred. Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting preferred.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to use computer, fax machine and copy machine. Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment
