Job summary

Riverside Community Care's Newton Outpatient Center is seeking a Clinician - Triage Intake Coordinator (T/IC) to perform initial diagnostic evaluations, formulate clinical recommendations, and coordinate intake with clinicians and other providers for ongoing services.

The role includes collecting documentation, completing comprehensive assessments, and offering short-term bridging therapy for urgent cases while awaiting assignment. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Independent licensure strongly preferred; within 6 months of independent licensure considered.
• CANS certification is required.
• Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s discipline.
• Emergency Services/Triage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial diagnostic evaluations with clinical formulations and treatment recommendations.
• Coordinates intake appointments with Administrative Intake Coordinator and assigns to clinicians.
• Collects documentation from external providers and reviews prior treatment records.
• Provides short-term individual and/or group therapy for urgent cases awaiting ongoing care.

Clinic ian - Triage Intake Coordinator

Riverside's Newton Outpatient Center is seeking a Clinician - Triage Intake Coordinator!

In this vital role, the Clinician Triage/Intake Coordinator (T/IC):

• completes initial diagnostic evaluations with clinical formulations and recommendations for treatment per regulatory statutes for all ages and all individuals accessing treatment regardless of insurance
• works closely with the Administrative Intake Coordinator (AIC) to schedule intake appointments, complete all necessary intake documentation, and facilitate case assignments to clinicians and other providers for ongoing services
• collects documentation from external providers and incorporates data from prior treatment records and clinical screening tools to complete comprehensive clinical assessments
• provides short-term individual and/or group therapy (“bridging”) for individuals with urgent needs who are awaiting assignment to an ongoing clinician

Schedule:

Full Time - 40 hours/week

Salary:

• Unlicensed Clinician - $63,856.00/year
• Independent Licensure - $66,955.20/year

Required Skills

Required Experience

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
• Independent licensure strongly preferred; within 6 months of independent licensure considered
• Child and Adolescent Needs Assessment (CANS) certified
• Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s professional discipline, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
• Emergency Services/Triage experience preferred
