Job summary

Sierra Vista Child & Family Services is seeking a Clinician Trainee/ Clinician for the North Modesto Family Resource Center. The role offers direct clinical services, risk assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with community partners in a nonprofit setting.

Requires Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with license eligibility (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) and active BBS credentials where applicable; CA driver’s license if driving is required. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Requires Master of Arts or Master of Science in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and license eligibility (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
• BBS registration or equivalent credentials must be active where applicable.
• One year of experience with children/adults preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Valid CA driver’s license required if driving is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients.
• Use screening tools and develop admission assessments and treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records meeting standards.
• Coordinate treatment with referring agencies and community partners.
• Collect outcome and satisfaction data as required.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively.
• Schedule and participate in outreach, education, and presentations.
• Practice infection control and maintain quality and safety culture.
• Apply de-escalation techniques for crisis prevention.
• Administer C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
