Job summary

EventusWholeHealth in Indiana is seeking a Clinician Support Specialist to bolster the clinical care team. You will coordinate workflows with Advanced Practice Clinicians and facility staff, support encounter documentation, and help ensure high-quality patient care and clear communication across care teams.

This role requires strong customer service, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT preferred.
• Minimum one year of patient care experience preferred (medical scribing experience preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong customer service and excellent communication skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready.
• Support clinicians with encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation.
• Coordinate and update patient schedules including admissions, discharges, and changes.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients and families to support communication and quality care.
• Assist with triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician.
• Organize and manage clinical documentation including labs and patient records.
• Host and support telehealth visits for routine and acute care needs.
• Obtain and process patient consents and route documentation correctly.
• Participate in facility meetings and share updates with the care team.
• Support discharge planning and ensure accurate census and records.
• Represent the organization professionally within partner facilities.

Position Summary

The Clinician Support Specialist (CSS) plays a critical role in supporting the clinical care team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. In this position, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and facility staff to coordinate workflows, support clinical services, and enhance communication between patients, providers, and care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring all necessary patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance
• Support clinicians in delivering care byassistingwith encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation
• Coordinate andmaintainaccuratepatient schedules, including updates for admissions, discharges, and acute changes
• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families to support communication and quality care delivery
• Assistwith triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician
• Organize and manage clinical documentation, including lab results, diagnostic data, and patient records
• Host and support telehealth visits for both routine and acute care needs
• Obtain and process patient consents and ensure proper routing of documentation
• Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to the care team
• Support discharge planning and ensureaccuratepatient census and records
• Maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively within partner facilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT highly preferred
• Minimum one year of patient care experience highly preferred, medical scribing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, supportive, and professional approach
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to navigate multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment

Travel Requirements

• Regular travel to assigned facilities isrequired
• Travel distances may exceed 60 miles from home at times
• Reliable personal transportation isrequired
