Job summary

EventusWholeHealth is seeking a Clinician Support Specialist to assist the clinical care team across facilities, coordinating workflows and enhancing communication between patients, providers, and care teams.

You will support clinicians with documentation, data entry, and chart preparation, while managing patient schedules and telehealth visits in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT highly preferred.
  • Minimum one year of patient care experience highly preferred; medical scribing experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, supportive, and professional approach.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance.
  • Assist with encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation to support clinicians.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate patient schedules, including admissions, discharges, and changes.
  • Serve as liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families to support communication and care quality.
  • Assist with triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician.
  • Organize and manage clinical documentation, including labs, diagnostics, and records.
  • Host and support telehealth visits for routine and acute care needs.
  • Obtain and process patient consents and route documentation properly.
  • Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to the care team.
  • Support discharge planning and maintain patient census and records.
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively at partner facilities.

Position Summary:

The Clinician Support Specialist (CSS) plays a critical role in supporting the clinical care team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. In this position, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and facility staff to coordinate workflows, support clinical services, and enhance communication between patients, providers, and care teams.

CSS team members contribute to patient care delivery through a combination of clinical support, administrative coordination, and customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring all necessary patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance
