EventusWholeHealth is hiring a Clinician Support Specialist to assist Advanced Practice Clinicians and facility staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will manage workflows, support documentation, and facilitate communication among patients, providers, and care teams.

The role emphasizes clinical support, administrative coordination, and customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting with travel to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA), CNA or PCT preferred.
• Minimum one year of patient care experience preferred; medical scribing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service with professional approach.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready.
• Assist clinicians with encounter documentation, data entry, and chart preparation.
• Coordinate and maintain patient schedules, including admissions, discharges, and changes.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients, and families.
• Assist with triage and documentation as directed.
• Organize clinical documentation, including lab results and patient records.
• Host and support telehealth visits for routine and acute care needs.
• Obtain and process patient consents; route documentation properly.
• Participate in facility meetings and communicate updates to care team.
• Support discharge planning and ensure accurate census and records.
• Maintain professionalism within partner facilities.

Position Summary:

The Clinician Support Specialist (CSS) plays a critical role in supporting the clinical care team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. In this position, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and facility staff to coordinate workflows, support clinical services, and enhance communication between patients, providers, and care teams.

CSS team members contribute to patient care delivery through a combination of clinical support, administrative coordination, and customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds by ensuring all necessary patient information, documentation, and schedules are ready in advance

• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to navigate multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment

Travel Requirements:

• Regular travel to assigned facilities isrequired
• Travel distances may exceed 60 miles from home at times
• Reliable personal transportation isrequired
