Community Counseling of Bristol County Incorporated (CCBC) in Taunton, MA, is hiring a Clinical Master’s level clinician for a full-time position in a residential rehabilitation program serving adults with mental illness and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include group therapy, care management, and crisis intervention.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a human-services discipline, experience with adults with psychiatric conditions, and strong written and oral communication

Competenze

• Master’s degree in human services related discipline is required.
• Experience with adults with psychiatric populations, preferably in a milieu setting.
• Previous group facilitation experience.
• Good organizational, oral, and written skills.

Mansioni

• Process referrals for intake/admission into program.
• Conduct and complete psychosocial assessments.
• Develop and write treatment plans in conjunction with clients and care coordinator.
• Present assessments at multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Facilitate a range of program groups and activities.

Description of Position

CCBC is hiring a Clinical Masters level position working as member of multidisciplinary team in a residential program setting serving adults with moderate to severe mental illness and substance use disorder, providing group therapy, care management and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals for intake/admission into program;
• Conduct and complete psychosocial assessments;
• Develop and write treatment plan in conjunction with clients and care coordinator
• Present assessments at multidisciplinary team meetings;
• Facilitate a range of program groups and activities;
• Work with Clinical Director to coordinate treatment plans.
• Assist assigned clients in developing a program schedule, updating the treatment plan, coaching on how best to use the program, and developing an aftercare plan;
• Triage crisis situations;
• When assigned, serve as Clinician of the Day (COD);
• Complete documentation in a timely fashion, including incident reporting;

Education/Training

Master’s degree in human services related discipline.

Experience

Experience with adults with adult psychiatric population, preferably in a milieu setting. Previous group facilitation experience. Good organizational, oral, and written skills.

Other

Knowledge of Core-Competencies as identified by the employee’s assigned department; Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles, as determined by the department vice president; Must complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process; Must have computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position.
