Job summary

Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care in Washington State seeks a Clinician to provide crisis services and help clients identify goals, needs, and resources to prepare for therapy. Services may be delivered in or out of the office, partnering with clients and the team to promote quality, cost‑effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree in human services and two years of relevant experience.
• Agency Affiliated Counselor registration within 2 weeks of hire.
• Ability to transport clients.
• Experience in Clinical work a plus.
• Pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Educate and orient clients and their families; explain the role of the clinical case manager; collaborate on recovery plan; provide information related to treatments and continuing service requirements.
• Provide Crisis Management Services.
• Perform intakes as needed with MHP credentials.
• Participate in QI activities and committees as assigned.
• Assist with the billing requirements as needed.
• Work in office or in the community to engage clients in services.
• Achieve 60% productivity (24 hours) billable services per full FTE.
• Advocate for the client with community, family, providers, landlords, DPS, etc.
• Add to the interdisciplinary recovery plan and other clinician tools by participating in meetings; coordinate information and service requirements with other providers.
