Job summary

Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) seeks a full-time Clinician II for waterbury area, supporting adults and youth with behavioral health needs. The clinician will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment.

Requires a Master’s in behavioral health and state licensure along with EMR experience. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; salary starts at $68,500 plus a $7,000 sign-on bonus and robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health required.
• Connecticut licensure as LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Ph.D./LADC needed.
• MANDT, first aid, CPR certifications required.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive intake assessments with adults/children to inform diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
• Provides individual, family and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Develops measurable goals and tracks progress over time.
• Collaborates with other providers and timely shares clinical information.
• Responds to crises and triages to appropriate services.
• Completes documentation within required timeframes and ensures proper reimbursement.
