Job summary

Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA is seeking a full-time Clinician to provide direct clinical services at our Detox/Residential facility. The role includes individual, family and group psychotherapy, plus psychoeducation, with four 10-hour shifts (Thursday-Sunday).

The Clinician will conduct psychosocial evaluations, develop treatment plans, document activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while ensuring confidentiality and trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field is required.
• LMHC, LCSW, LADC I preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and confidentiality laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial evaluations and develop treatment plans for clients.
• Document all patient-related activities in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform administrative tasks related to job assignments and other duties.
• Provide psychotherapy for patients, families and groups and consult with staff as needed.

Our Clinicians must be skilled and experienced at treating addictions and their co-occurring mental health disorders, with skill emphasis on Trauma-informed care. They must be able to work effectively, efficiently, and flexibly in a fast-paced, demanding and team-driven work environment. They must also be adept at organization and prioritization, treatment planning, crisis management and electronic documentation.**Clinician Essential Responsibilities*** Performing psychosocial evaluations and developing treatment plans and interventions appropriate to the client's age, education, cultural and ethnic background, medical status, substance use and mental diagnoses, functional ability, and life circumstances.* Documenting all patent-related activities in a timely and professional manner, and according to agency policy and relevant licensing and accreditation standards.* Performing all administrative tasks related to the job assignments and other designated administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner, and performing other work-related duties as assigned/requested by the manager.* Providing psychotherapy for patients, families, and groups, acting as a resource for clinical and procedural expertise to other staff members through mutual consultation, and consultation to other professionals as needed.* Participating in clinical utilization review and interdisciplinary team sessions as needed, for the purpose of assisting in patient assessment, development and revision of treatment goals, and discharge planning.* Participating in regular clinical supervision rounds and consulting with medical director, program manager and colleagues when clinical decisions regarding risk arise.**Clinician Requirements:*** Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.* Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws* Knowledge of Drug-free Workplace Policies.* Knowledge of Addiction Issues, co-occurring disorders, and the 12-Step Recovery Program* Patient care charts and patient histories* Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution* Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual and their family.* Emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid and CPR* Experience working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient milieu**Clinician Experience:*** 2+ years of experience in drug and alcohol treatment.**Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications:*** Master's Degree Required in social work, psychology or related human services field* LMHC, LCSW, LADC I preferred**Why Work for Us!**We provide an environment where our employees can grow and advance professionally, with a healthy balance between work and personal lives.
