Position Overview

As a 1099 Remote Therapist, you will provide virtual therapy sessions to clients via a secure telehealth platform. This independent contractor position allows you to set your own hours, maintain autonomy, and focus on delivering quality clinical care without administrative burdens. We also provide supervisory hours towards clinical licensure.

Responsibilities

·Provide individual, couples, or family therapy via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform

·Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

·Collaborate with the practice owner and team members as needed for case consultation and client care

·Maintain licensure and continuing education in good standing

·Comply with ethical and legal standards of the profession

·Participate in occasional virtual team meetings or case reviews

Requirements

·Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field

·Active, unrestricted license in your state (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist)

·Minimum of 1–2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred

·Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

·Access to a quiet, private workspace with reliable internet

·Strong clinical skills and cultural humility

Preferred Qualifications

·Experience with specific populations (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, trauma survivors, teens, couples)

·CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based training

Compensation
