Make a Difference

The Life Skills Clinician (LSC) engages with individuals and families to improve health and wellness, promote self-direction, and help clients reach their full potential. The LSC monitors and provides care coordination and life skills training for youth and adults with co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders, including those with serious mental illness. Bachelor's Degree required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Patients First: Support comprehensive psycho-social assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Assist clients in emotion regulation.
  • Accurately document services in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) according to policies.
  • Transport clients and medications in a personal vehicle when necessary.
  • Relationships: Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Integrity: Adhere to all behavioral health policies and procedures.
  • Inclusion: Work with clients at various stages of change, supporting emotional and cognitive regulation.

  • Participate actively in professional development and mandatory training.
  • Complete timecards, PTO requests, mileage reports, and other documentation as per policies.
