Qualifications

• Texas RN License required.
• Previous charge or supervisory experience is necessary.
• Management experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees that all staff carry out duties safely, timely, compassionately and efficiently, including direct patient care when needed.
• Directly communicates with physicians and management to resolve conflicts quickly and effectively.
• Responsible for timely evaluation, coaching, educating and counseling of all staff.
• Maintain a risk-free environment and pursue ongoing performance improvement on the unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
