Job summary

Evolution Research Group is seeking an Unit Clinician (LPN) in Lemon Grove, CA to support clinical trials through dispensing investigational drugs, venipuncture, sample handling, and data recording as guided by GCP. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance within a site observation unit.

The ideal candidate has an active LPN license, 1+ year clinical experience, and CPR certification, with ACLS and phlebotomy credentials being a plus.

Qualifications

• LPN license in state of practice; current license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred for LPN.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Communicate with providers and staff clearly.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and collect investigational products and meds per written orders.
• Perform protocol procedures: vitals, blood collection, ECGs, and point-of-care tests.
• Lab duties: tube prep, labeling, centrifugation, storage, shipping, and specimen accountability.
• Ensure proper disposal of biological specimens.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow ERG SOPs and site policies; adapt to evolving needs.
• Additional duties as required by the organization.
